FAQ
OP Error(Not Locked )
It indicates that the lid is not fully locked or the lid sensor is not properly detected.
How To Fix
- Check the lid: Please make sure the lid is securely and fully locked.
- 2. Check the lid sensor: Gently press the lid sensor and see if there is a clicking sound, confirming it’s good and not broken.
E4 Error (Air Leakage)
This usually occurs when the machine is unable to form a proper vacuum environment.
How To Fix
- Make sure the lid is fully pressed down and securely locked.
- Check whether the upper and lower silicone gaskets are properly aligned and fit tightly. Since the gaskets may worn with time going, contact support@liwunon.com for a replacement gasket if needed.
- Ensure the bag is flat and that the open end is fully placed inside the vacuum chamber, under the five positional tips.
- Make sure the hose is NOT connected to the unit when vacuum sealing a bag.
HI Error (Overheat Protection)
This is the machine’s temperature protection mechanism, which typically occurs after multiple consecutive sealing operations.
How To Fix
- Unplug the power cord to stop the machine immediately.
- Open the lid fully and allow the unit to cool naturally for about 8 minutes. If needed, you may let it cool for a longer period.
- For faster cooling, place the device away from high-temperature areas such as the kitchen and use a fan to help speed up heat dissipation with the lid open.
- When use the ‘Moist’ Mode, please keep the opening end of the bag clean and dry.Since the heating temperature in this mode is higher, it is recommended to leave a short interval of around 10 seconds between each sealing cycles, and to keep the lid open after each sealing whenever possible.
E2 Error ( Product Defect Alert)
Contact the support@liwunon.com directly for a replacement.
Why the lid cannot be closed?
This may occur because the handle was pressed before the lid was fully closed. Correct Operation:
①Lift the handle up ②Close the lid ③Press the handle down
Why the Machine Keeps Vacuuming but Does Not Seal Possible Reasons:
Slight air leakage happened around the sealing area or on the bag.
What To Do:
- Check whether the upper and lower silicone gaskets are properly aligned and fit tightly.
- Ensure the bag opening is clean and flat. If there is any powder, moisture, or oil inside the bag opening, please wipe this area clean before vacuuming.
- Make sure the bag opening is fully placed inside the vacuum chamber.
- Make sure the hose is NOT connected to the unit when vacuum sealing a bag.
- For foods like popcorn or lobster tails, the uneven surfaces can press against the bag after vacuuming, creating tiny, invisible punctures over time. To prevent this, please wrap the food with another bag or kraft paper first, then place it into the vacuum bag for sealing.
- When creating a new bag from roll, we suggest cutting out the appropriate length of the bags first, and then sealing the bottom of it. If you choose to seal the bottom first and then pull the bag out to cut , this might result in an insecure seal and air leakage at the bottom.
Why does the machine begin to heat up and seal before the air was completely removed?
Possible Reasons: Liquid or oil may be drawn up to the bag opening, causing the bag’s sides to stick together and blocking the micro air channels.
What To Do:
- Wipe off the moisture/grease from the inside of the bag, or place a folded paper towel between top of food and the bag opening before sealing.
- Pre-freeze foods briefly to reduce moisture release, or use a paper towel to absorb excess liquid.
Why the vacuum sealed bag loses its vacuum over time when stored?
Possible Reasons: Micro leakage may occur at the bag’s seals—either on the bottom seal or the top sealing line. It can also happen on the bag’s body (front/back panels) – caused by bones or sharp edges piercing small holes.
What To Do:
- Please ensure the bag opening is dry, flat, and free from oil, moisture or food residues.
- Foods with bones or sharp edges may pierce the bag. Wrap those areas with kraft paper or another bag.
- Some foods naturally release gas over time (fermentation). This can cause the bag to expand. Prefreeze or boil them before vacuum sealing.
- Avoid overfilling the bag. Leave at least 3 inches of space between top of food and bag opening.
- When creating a new bag from roll, we suggest cutting out the appropriate length of the bags first, and then sealing the bottom of it. If you choose to seal the bottom first and then pull the bag out to cut , this might result in an insecure seal and air leakage at the bottom.
VACUUM SEALER HAS NO POWER •
What To Do:
Ensure the unit is plugged in.
To test the electrical outlet, plug in another appliance, such as a lamp.
Vacuum sealer will shut off automatically if overheated.
Allow to cool down for several minutes and try again.
Check power cord and plug for damage. If damaged, please contact us at support@liwunon.com for replacements.
VACUUM SEALER DOES NOT PERFORM FIRST SEAL
What To Do:
Make sure the bag end is properly positioned over sealing element and there are no creases or debris in bag material.
VACUUM SEALER DOES NOT PULL A COMPLETE VACUUM
What To Do:
To seal properly, open end of bag must be entirely inside vacuum chamber area.
Check upper sealing strip and gaskets for obstructions. Wipe clean and ensure they are fully seated.
Check the cover and handle are down all the way.
Bag material may have a leak. To test, seal the bag with some air in it, submerge in water, and apply pressure. Bubbles indicate a leak. Reseal or use another bag.
VACUUM PUMP IS RUNNING,BUT BAG IS NOT EVACUATING
What To Do:
If making a bag from a roll, ensure one end of the bag is sealed. See "How to Make a Bag from a Vacuum Sealing Roll."
Adjust the bag and try again. Open end of bag must be entirely inside vacuum chamber area.
Check for wrinkles in the bag along the sealing strip. To prevent wrinkles, gently stretch the bag flat while inserting it into the vacuum chamber.
Open the unit and ensure the gaskets are properly inserted and free of foreign objects, dirt, or debris (see "Care and Cleaning").
Make sure the accessory hose is not attached to the accessory port.
Ensure the lid is closed and the handle is completely locked. If the lid is not closed and the handle is unlocked, there will be a leak between the gaskets.
BAG IS NOT SEALING PROPERLY
What To Do:
Too much liquid in bag, freeze before vacuuming.
Check for food debris around seal area. If present, Take out the gasket, clean it and reinsert the Gasket into the Vacuum Chamber (See Care and Cleaning).
Bag has wrinkles: To prevent wrinkles in the seal, gently stretch bag flat while inserting bag into the vacuum chamber.
